Company Mission
When my wife and I started our company, it was with the goal of providing the cosplay community with the kind of high quality wigs we wanted to use for our own costumes. As we grew, our focus and philosophy came to include so much more. Our company is comprised of ten hard-working people and Arda is just as much about our employees and our community as it is about our product, and how we treat all of them is important to us.
Buying our products supports:
- $15.50 starting for hourly employees
- Regular employee raises
- 401k and matching
- Health, vision, and dental insurance for all employees
- Four weeks paid vacation, as well as additional time for maternity, sick, and bereavement leave
- Salary and benefits for convention personnel
Arda Wigs is also dedicated to giving back to our community. In addition to initiatives to support both the LGBTQ and cosplay community, whenever possible we participate in global charitable donations with a focus on the environment and helping marginalized communities, as well as educational initiatives throughout Chicago. All of our tutorials and artists, photographers, and featured models are also fully paid and fairly compensated for their work.
