This week we interviewed our customer, Daifuku Cosplay! See more of her work via facebook!

Q: When did you start cosplaying, and what got you started?
A: I started in 2011,with my Sweeney Cosplay and got started by the internet. I’ve seen some cosplayers there, did not know what they did and searched for it. I got obsessed immediately.

Q: What is your favorite part of the costume-making process?
A: Most of all I like the wig styling and the last details, like painting some stuff or adding the last buttons. It’s so creative to do and that’s the greatest fun.

Q: Which costume are you most proud of?
A: I’m mostly prod of my Zoro cosplay, that’s why I’ve submitted it here. There is a lot of work in it, and also a lot of heart. I’m still improving him where I can and I guess there will be no end in the near future.

Q: Do you have a favorite Arda Wig style and/or color?
A: My favorite Arda is the Marty and the Jett in Mint, they are so perfect for Zoro. But also the Chibi is very very helpful because pigtails are really hard to make and the seize of the wigs ensure that it will fit well. Like them all three I guess. But if I would have the money I would buy all of the lace fronts.

Q: What advice do you have for new cosplayers getting into the hobby?
A: Well at first: It’s still a hobby. No mater if you get started or if you cosplay for many years, it will be a hobby that provides the most fun in crafting all things you can imagine and having fun with your friends. Without competition and only aiming for the top. And don’t flip everything because something does not work. Sometimes its hard but the outcome might be unexpected
