This week we interviewed our customer, Yin Yagami Cosplay! See more of her work via Facebook!

Q: When did you start cosplaying, and what got you started?

A: I started cosplaying in 2009 when my friend invited my to an anime convention. She told me about the hobby and since I loved costumes and acting I  has hooked from the beginning.

Q: What is your favorite part of the costume-making process?

A: I would say the hardest part of this costume was the corset because of the amount of time it took. I had to create fabric and detailing before I could put the all layers together.

Q: Which costume are you most proud of?

A: That would definitely be Honey. I love all the little details on the costume.

Q: Do you have a favorite Arda Wig style and/or color?

A: Yes for sure my favorite style is the Luthien, I use this wig shape for everything it seems like. And for color i can’t really choose I love all of them.

Q: What was your most difficult challenge with this costume?

A: I would say the hardest part of this costume was the corset because of the amount of time it took. I had to create fabric and detailing before I could put the all layers together.

Q: What advice do you have for new cosplayers getting into the hobby?

A: I would say just try something before you say you can’t because you might just surprise yourself. There are lots of thing I learned because of this idea and it’s definitely help me improve over the years.
