We’re reaching the final stages of Howl! The main project this week was constructing a harness. I wanted something lightweight and easy to wear so it was made out of fiberglass!
Be sure to be extra careful when using fiberglass; it can be dangerous when handled improperly and with the wrong safety equipment! Here’s a short video of the process. We dabbed resin on the backplate base to hold the multiple layers of fiberglass in place.
After that was done, we installed the hardware and tested the wings! Just need to adjust the length of the PVC pipe so they can slide in evenly and we're done!
